Getting started, step by step
Our onboarding process explained
Step 1 – Free consult
As a values led team, we want to make sure we’re all on the same page before you invest time and money and ultimately put your trust and care of a loved one in our hands.
As such, we offer a free 15 minute consult to introduce us as people. Here you can put a voice (and face if you are happy to have the camera on) to the name, and find out how we might fit into the picture.
Many families who come our way haven’t always had the greatest experience in trying to secure suitable support. They may have been hand-balled between multiple systems and structures that are much larger than them or they may simply be so exhausted, that asking and knowing where to turn for help itself becomes impossible.
This free consult requires no preparation, and comes with no obligations to continue. Just a 15 minute conversation to see if we’re a good fit.
Step 2 – Initial appointment
Once we’ve met and you’d like to move forward, the initial appointment is where we get into the detail. There are three versions of initial appointment, depending on where you’re at. If you took us up on the free consult, we’ll help you decide which suits best.
Not sure what you need?
Here we help you define what you actually need – many families aren’t sure yet, and that’s exactly what this session is for.
If you have existing reports or assessments, or an NDIS plan, you’re welcome to upload them beforehand so we have context.
We do send out a form to gather some basic details that allows us to make the best use of your time, but it is totally optional, and not required – especially when capacity is already at a all time low!
We’ll work through your situation together and identify the right next step.
You’ll receive a written summary of our discussion, our recommendations, and targeted resources by email afterwards.
No obligation to continue afterwards.
$146.77
For NDIS participants this session may be claimable from your Capacity Building or Support Coordination budget, depending on your plan and goals. For private clients this is an out of pocket expense.
Applying to access the NDIS?
NDIS Stepping Stone
Starting the NDIS process is one of the hardest parts – not because it’s impossible, but because knowing where to begin when you’re already stretched thin can feel overwhelming.
By booking an NDIS Stepping Stone (as the selected initial appointment) we aim to take that weight off you, by meeting with you for up to 30 minutes to understand your situation, review your supporting documentation, and complete as much of the NDIS Access Request Form as possible – including coordinating specialist sign-off where documentation allows.
You don’t need to have everything ready before you reach out. If you’re still building your evidence, we’ll walk you through exactly what you need, and follow up with you twice as you pull it together.
If you already have reports, letters, or specialist correspondence, simply upload them when you book.
What you’ll leave with: a clear next step – whether that’s a completed access package ready to sign and submit, or a personalised roadmap of what to gather.
$300.00
This is a once off, fixed price private service.
Supported Pathway
Sometimes life just gets in the way – and the follow-up actions that felt simple on the phone, become impossible when you’re already running on empty.
The Supported Pathway is a done-for-you add-on for families who need someone to actively chase the evidence on their behalf.
If, after your NDIS Stepping Stone initial session, you’re finding it hard to move forward on your own, we can step in to help you book specialist appointments, chase correspondence, and keep the process moving – so it doesn’t stall indefinitely.
This includes a brief 15-minute call to understand who’s on the care team, and we’ll take it from there.
You don’t need to make the calls. We will.
$250.00
Available as a follow-up to the NDIS Stepping Stone session only.
This service is not billed to the NDIS.
Ready to engage supports?
If you are reaching out with a clear intention of engaging with one of our Allied Health practitioners, this allows us to complete our intake process, identifying your situation as well as treatment goals and priorities.
You’ll receive a written summary of our discussion, a Care Needs Summary, and a date and time for your Allied Health session (if provided in house), or a referral to a recommended specific provider with details regarding their availability.
There is still no obligation to continue, but we require 2 business days notice to cancel sessions that have been booked.
$356.45
For NDIS participants this session may be claimable from your Capacity Building or Support Coordination budget, depending on your plan and goals. For private clients this is an out of pocket expense, however it may be claimable under Medicare with a GP-issued Chronic Disease Management plan or private health insurance.
